This explode-o-rama summer blockbuster
was awesome. The special effects were just spectacular. It's so slick and fast paced you'll barely find time to refill your Mountain Dew! I was amazed at the futuristic vehicles. This definitely something you have to see if you like great visuals.You will be blown away by the imaginative computer-generated sets. The costumes were incredible, especially Dukes'.

Duke is the code name of First Sergeant Conrad S. Hauser. He is field commander and second-in-command of the G.I. Joe Team after Hawk. He is one of the key characters of G.I. Joe and a fan-favorite. In this movie, he is portrayed by Channing Tatum.

GI Joe is an American Icon. GI JOE has been around since 1942 as a comic book character. In 1964, the GI Joe Action Figure was born.
The GI, in GI Joe originally stood for Government Issue, In the new G.I. Joe movie, G.I. Joe stands for Globally Integrated Joint Operating Entity. As a child of the 80's, I grew up with GIJOE. I had many of the figures and watched the cartoon series. The character is featured in two series, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, appearing in both the animated series and comic books. So it was very cool to see our hero updated in the new movie.
